Being Startup of the Year doesn’t just happen; you only earn that title thanks to votes from the public. That’s why it feels like a huge boost to win the Cannabis Industry Award for this category. Cannabis Industry Awards
From October 2022, the public could nominate their favorites for the CannabisIndustrieAwards.nl. An election with 9 categories: entrepreneur, coffee shop, hemp product, CBD product, campaign, seed bank & innovation of the year. Plus a press award: the Green Noble. All of this led by the three experienced industry experts: Mauro Picavet, Rens Hoppenbrouwers and Derrick Bergman.
The High Cloud
The High Cloud emerged as a seed in early 2022. At the time, it was nothing more than a concept for a one-off podcast on paper. This developed further behind closed doors, until in March the website went live with the THC Shop, Strain Reviews and Uncle’s Advice; and in late April the first episode of the THC Podcast appeared.
What followed was a super successful 11-episode season, featuring awesome guests from the cannabis industry. That – and the subsequent video series “THC goes” – was so well received that season 2 could not be long in coming. In fact, we were practically bombarded with questions about when it would come online. Looking ahead to 2023, at least another season 3 is expected as well as a number of new concepts will most likely come online. Among them, “THC goes SPAIN!
